2. Staining in Underwear
Sometimes a discharge isn’t the very first issue people notice, but instead, the condition might show itself through off-color staining in the underwear first. This can happen throughout the daytime or sometimes during the night, and it might only show up as a symptom of gonorrhea a few weeks after you’ve contracted the condition.
It’s likely to go together with some of the other symptoms that have been mentioned on this list, although even if you experience no other symptoms it means you should see a doctor.
If you are currently being treated for gonorrhea or any other STD that might be causing underwear staining, it’s best to discard any underwear or other clothing that might have been affected: The prevalence of STDs is one reason why underwear exchanges are a big no for clothing stores.
Of course, if you experience any of the symptoms that are mentioned on this list first, check your underwear periodically: It’s one of the first places where you can spot a problem.
