4. Chronic Stress
The connection between stress and other health issues, including stomach problems is quite well-known. At some point or another, this is something almost everyone has experienced. Chronic stress can cause anything from a bit of indigestion to chronic stomach issues. It is important to note that the research about stress in relation to gastrointestinal issues is still quite misunderstood.
There has not been any proven study that has shown a direct relationship between chronic stress and gastritis. However, with that being said, it is known that stress can cause the body to react in different ways. Stomach issues are common complaints among those who are dealing with stress. If you are constantly feeling stressed and have symptoms of gastritis, getting your stress under control may be all that is necessary to do in order to heal the stomach and have you feeling better overall.
