4. Abusing Drugs
Like smoking cigarettes, drug abuse of any kind is never recommended. While all hallucinatory and unhealthy drugs should be avoided, as a rule, cocaine is commonly cited as one of the major causes of brain aneurysms.
This substance, along with LSD, heroin, and several others, can be responsible for damaging our bodies in ways that we can’t even fathom. Brain aneurysms are just one of them. Needless to say, the chances of a ruptured brain aneurysm is also high on the charts for a drug addict.
It’s hence essential that anyone who’s addicted to cocaine or any other drug should be steered towards a rehabilitation center as soon as possible. With time and effort, rehab therapy could bring the body back to health and reduce the chances of brain aneurysms. However, those who are undergoing rehab should also be regularly screened in order to rule out brain aneurysms.
