3. Irritability
When most people think about depression they tend to think that it involves overwhelming sadness. This is somewhat true. However, often times when a person is depressed they often by small things that you know that you should not be bothered by, it may be a sign of depression. There is no explanation for why some things just make you want to scream or why something someone is doing makes you want to snap.
Not being able to cope with just the little things in life can be frustrating, annoying, and make living at all seem difficult. If you have noticed that you are seemingly more impatient and irritable, do not ignore it. Do not simply blame it on stress or your current workload. Take some time to consider the possibility that you may be depressed as there is a good chance that depression could be the root of your anger and irritability.
