Sometimes, dark circles under the eyes are simply a genetic factor passed down from generation to generation; you can even see plenty examples of this in celebrity faces – sometimes dark circles under the eyes are a sign of exhaustion and tiredness, and other times people, well, just happen to look like that.
If your parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents have the characteristic circles under the eyes as part of your genetic makeup, then it’s likely that you – or your children – will end up with the same thing.
But just because it’s genetic, doesn’t mean it’s forever: You can still benefit from the application of skin creams, and from tips to get rid of dark circles under the eyes like using a tea bag or cucumber slices put over the eye.
